ARCHIVES ghetto-tech

ZAIN surfaced in the UK scene by heading up one of London’s leading progressive underground venues, The Glove That Fits. Mixing and style is a reflection of the programming, blending a deep catalogue of experimental sounds from all ends, often hoping through a spectrum of genres. Playing at notable venues such as Public Works in San Francisco, Bossa Nova Civic Club in New York and Supporting artists and record labels like Planet Mu, Tornado Wallace and Halcyon Veil.
In this selection, Zain is taking us into the badlands for an hour-long trip. Ancestral ambient dub, deep groove, gritty ghetto-tech topped off with some West Coast G-funk. A mix for better days.
