Episode #11 of Event Horizon features selections of women and gay artists published on TELLUS, the Audio Cassette Magazine. Tellus is a subscription-only bimestrial publication which championed the audio works of women and gay artists in the NY experimental music scene during the ’80s and early ’90s.

This month, Polyphone hosts welcome harpist Elisabeth Valletti, pioneer and iconinc figure in the french experimental music scene.
Classically trained, Elisabeth was influenced in her early years by improvised jazz, some of the first electronic instruments and the 90’s computer science.
Her work with the Midi Camac Harp has been awarded a Qwartz in 2012 in the Experimentation Category.

Dans cette session Event Horizon émet en direct du vaisseau Nostromo pour aller à la rencontre de la Dj et productrice Myako, interviewée pendant sa résidence chez Bastl Instrument à Brno en République Tchéque. L’entretien intersidéral est suivi d’un Live de Myako alias Bluereed enregistré à Noise kitchen pendant sa résidence.
Nous faisons ensuite une petite incursion spatiotemporelle au Village Label de la Villette Sonique pour poser deux ou trois questions aux Labels Erratum, Lentonia et Err rec.
