CANARY GIRL ISLAND

MukMonthly Thursdays12PM - 1PM

Follow the dj, singer and all-around usual and unusual music enthusiast Muk on her game on the industrial, tropical and experimental - the Canary girls were women in WW1 working in the war industry with TNT, having their skin turn yellow and hair green. What the Canary Islands are, on the other hand, everybody knows.

The 7th edition of Muk’s Canary Girl Island takes a twist into the Dead Cities: once in the past an organic and beautiful city, these days (~2034 or so) all is soaked in decadence produced by filth, waste and fume pollution, disgusting political and social mimicry – substance abuse, cold love etc. As many various forms of filth this urban-dustrial might offer, during the night all is united under one sky, under the same stars – for everyone, which shine bright through the smog skies.

An artsy and dedicated set of tropindustrial, bassy textures, gammellanic tin-tins and Muk’s playful mixing. Throw the dice, pull a green hair off your head and feel the warm breeze of analog weave into you.
