ALMOST EXOTIC

Malka TutiMonthly Thursdays10PM - 11PM

Listen to Katzele, half of Malka Tuti records, delivering his favorite records... no boundaries existing in this one.

The Malka Tuti founders Asaf Samuel and Katzele deliver a special “Almost Exotic” show, playing profound electronics for two hours.

Stream back to Katzele’s guest Captain of None set, representing an invitation to immerse yourself in a soothing sea of long-forgotten memories and lucid dreams. Captain of None is the hard-to-pin-down persona of Sophie Funke, founder of leftfield label Polychrome Sounds and one half of downtempo DJ duo SpatzHabibi. In her solo guise she explores ambient and ethereal sounds of the heartfelt kind, creating a sonic shroud behind which the notions of time and place shift and realign.

Stream back to Malka Tuti’s half brain going on an arpeggiators ride and ambient and drony vibes. This time playing some Serge Bulot, Gino Pavan, and more.

Listen back to Malka Tuti records co-founder Katzele running through modern electronics, from kaut-influenced bands to experimental, avant-garde projects.

Malka Tuti honcho Katzele invites Khidja for this one, the Romanian rising duo now residing in Berlin. As brothers of the Malka Tuti family, with upcoming releases on MT in 2018, they have volunteered for substituting Katzele on his Almost Exotic Radioshow with one hour of funky electronic weirdness. This is – Old Blue Opium Marzipan.

Katzele’s Malka Tuti delivering some smoothness here for the last Almost Exotic of the year.
