The Hague has always been a crucible for subversive dance music, and parties in the political capital are like no other in Holland. They’re punk, they’re freeform, and a little bit freaky. And so, too, is The Crave Festival. On May 31 – June 2, The Hague’s premier outdoor rave returns for another psychedelic romp, soundtracked by the city’s homegrown West Coast Sound, underground techno, acid and more. In the run-up to the festival they’re doing a radiotour including LYL, where they invited Deirdre Direktor and 543FF to set the mood.
